Stephanie attended Belmont University in Nashville, TN and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 2003. She also attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and graduated with a Masters of Divinity degree in 2006. Stephanie is currently pursuing a PhD in Leadership Studies at Dallas Baptist University.
She previously served on staff as the Youth Intern and as the Preschool and Children’s Minister at First Baptist Church, Cleburne, TX from April 2004 through August 2006. In August of 2006, she became the Intern at the Baptist Student Ministry at the University of North Texas. After two years in that position, Stephanie became the Associate Director. In July of 2009, she became the Interim Director and in February 2010, she was voted in as the Director.
Along with serving at the Baptist Student Ministry, Stephanie has served in interim youth and music positions for local churches and periodically leads worship for camps and church events. She loves investing in the lives of the coaches and players on the UNT Women's Basketball team and is one of their biggest fans. Stephanie also serves on the Board for Sparrow Women and provides consulting services for churches.

Becca graduated from the University of North Texas in the Fall of 2016 with a degree in Human Development and Family Sciences and a minor in Counseling, She has been involved at the Baptist Student Ministry and on Lead Team since her freshman year. During college she served on the Crave worship team and as a Connect Group leader. In her final semester of school she helped to coordinate and lead the BSM’s Connect Group ministry. With a desire to serve the Lord and His people, she loves discipling students and equipping them to serve UNT’s campus and share the good news of Jesus Christ. Becca has previous experience leading in youth ministry and worship ministries, and is excited to serve the Lord here at the UNT BSM as a Campus Missionary Intern.
Becca oversees the following ministry areas: BSM Band, Connect Groups, and Growth Groups
Jay started following Jesus towards the end of high school and when he came as a freshman to UNT in 2010. The Lord lead him to the BSM where his faith and knowledge of God grew tremendously. He was very invovled with the BSM all throughout his time at UNT, leading Bible studies, doing evangelism, and serving as a student leader. When he graduated in 2014, he joined the UNT BSM staff and served for two years from 2014-2016.
Jay met his wife, Elise, at the BSM and they got married in 2015. Wtih a heart for the nations, they moved to Nairobi, Kenya with hte Internaitonal Mission Board in 2016 and served in the 2-year Journeyman program. Their main role was serving at the University of Nairobi using the things they had both learned at the UNT BSM.
Now that they are back, Jay is serving at the BSM again, hoping to serve UNT students and the churches in Denton. Jay is excited to pour into students and is praying that God would move powerfully in their lives and that they woudl realize true life and fulfillment only come through Jesus. Jay hopes that they understand that as believers we are called by God to know Him which then leads to us making Him know through word and dead.
Jay and Elise currently don't know waht is next but they are excited to be back in Denton and at the UNT BSM! Go MEAN GREEN!

Cherish graduated from the University of North Texas in the Spring of 2018 with a degree in English Creative Writing. While a student at UNT, Cherish served on the Outreach Ministry Team at the BSM and she is passionate about sharing the Gospel with students at UNT. As a Campus Missionary Intern, Cherish will be training students to be missionaries where God has placed them. Cherish is excited for the opporutnity to be serving on the BSM staff and for all that the Lord will do at UNT this year.
Cherish oversees the following ministry areas: Equip Training and coordinating Campus Outreach.
Asa graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Kinesiology in the Fall of 2016. During his three and a half years at UNT, he served as a BSM student leader and helped lead the International student team and also helped the staff with office work. He is a member of North Point Baptist Church in Denton and serves regularly on the setup team. Asa started as the BSM secretary in November 2017. He loves having the ability to assist and equip students and staff for the ministry that the BSM does on UNT's campus.
Asa coordinates the logistics of Free Lunch.
